Julian Morgan
Julian’s in-depth experience and knowledge, acquired in over 50 years of hands-on music production, performance, and promotion work, has proven invaluable to the success of M and M Productions Inc.
By expanding his vision of the company, he began assembling high caliber musicians, who have transcended into two R&B groups, 2Creation and 2Natural. These two groups through not only Julian’s shaping and training, but music composition as well, provide the unique sounds of American Soul and R&B to Asian night clubs that now sell out in Japan and China regularly and who are currently scheduled for multiple Asian tours throughout various venues.
Julian has written, recorded, produced, performed, and toured with groups and/or members of Tower of Power, Rose Royce, Commodores, Expose, A Taste of Honey, The Platters, Undisputed Truth, Rocky Padilla, Andrea Miller, Jessica Beaza, Z-Looke, Cedar Breaks and numerous other groups from a variety of genres, including Latin, Rock, Country, Jazz, and R&B.
David Cochrane
David Cochrane, formerly of the Commodores, has produced songs for Lionel Ritchie, Atlantic Starr, and Paula Abdul.
He is a gifted saxophonist and vocalist that has been responsible for album hits like “My Love”, “Can’t Slow Down”, “All in the Name of Love”, and “Forever Your Girl”. David is currently producing Andrea Miller together with Julian Morgan and M and M productions. We are honored to be working with a producer of David’s background and caliber.
Trey Stone
Trey is a behind the scenes pioneer of the 70’s Soul funk explosion, Trey Stone was a key player in the era’s dance and funk sound and has contributed his talents as a multi-instrumentalist (guitarist/keyboards/vocals) and/or writing and production of dozens of hit recordings. Smash hits like Rose Royce’s “Car Wash”, The Undisputed Truth’s “Smiling Faces”, Bootsy Collins’ “What’s Bootsy Doing?” and Dee Lites’ “Groove is in the Heart”.
Nominated for a Grammy for his work on “Kissing You” with Keith Washington also earned him a gold record with Warner Bros. performing, co-producing and writing with legends such as Norman Whitfield, Joe Harris (The Undisputed Truth), George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Dee Lite, Jr. Walker and the All Stars … even making two appearances on Saturday Night Live and David Sanborn’s Night Music. Trey also appeared on MTVs “Rock in Rio” sharing the stage with the likes of Prince, George Michaels, Run DMC and the list goes on …!
In 2006 he became a member of the legendary Tower of Power, touring and performing with them for some 40+ shows. In the last two years he was honored to be invited to perform with the Reno Jazz Orchestra for their summer concert series also recording a CD with them, “Bring Me The Funk of James Brown”. In 2015 he was Inducted into The R&B Music Hall Of Fame in Detroit Michigan.
Clayton Powell
Clayton E. Powell Jr is an American music, film, and television producer, composer, audio engineer, studio owner, and university professor.
He has been in the industry for 30 years and has worked with the likes of Miles Davis, Bassist, Marshall Hawkins, Manhattan Transfer’s Alan Paul, Ted, talk, AFN (American Forces Network) Fox Studios, and many others.
