Micah Justice (Vocals, Songwriter, and Rhythm guitar) was born and raised in the Inland Empire of California. She began playing Classical Music in elementary school when she picked up the cello and continued throughout her primary and secondary education. In high school she began singing in her school’s Chamber Singers. In college, she picked up the guitar and started turning her volumes of poetry into songs. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara where she studied Theater. Soon after graduation, she was fortunate enough to join Jenni Alpert on her 2002 West Coast Tour and has played alongside accomplished songwriters and musicians like Brandi Lane, Chris Thayer (Big Papa and the TCB), Charley Roberts, and Gino Matteo (The Family Phunk). She can be heard on Aaron Wilson and the Love Vigilante’s recording of “Stay Tonight” as well as Whiskey Dick Rebellion’s “When My Time Comes”. She has also performed and received awards as an actress, acrobat, and dancer throughout the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. She currently resides with her family in Riverside, Ca. She also has a Master’s Degree in Special Education. She currently is the lead writer and singer for the Micah Justice Band with Nicholas Thomas, Michael Greaney, and Keith Coleman.
